Our main company Cukomed was established in 1976 by Radiologist, Dr. Ercin CITIRIK. Cukomed was the first radiology center to introduce Ultrasounds, CT Scanners and MRI machines in our city Adana, which has a population of over 4 million. We were the first company to establish a cancer treatment center in Adana 22 years ago. Since then, we have always been following the new up to date technologies and advancement on radiology and oncology. Currently, we are working with 4 government hospitals and 13 private hospitals in Turkey. We maintain and repair all our equipments in the hospitals ourselves, for that we have an advanced maintenance and repair department for imaging, radiology and radiation oncology units.
We only use three brands in radiology (Siemens, Philips and GE) and two brands (Elekta and Varian) for radiotherapy facilities . Over the years we have learned how to manage and operate radiology and radiotherapy centers effectively and efficiently. In 2014, our company was announced as the company that operates MRI scanning in government hospital called Adana Numune Hospital at lowest price. Since 2007, our radiology department and oncology center runs with 98% uptime efficiency. That means our machines operates 358 days a year continuously.
